Anyone from Leilani?
#1
I was taking my guests to Uncle Robert's and stopped by 12(?) marker right before Leilani where was a sign "garage sale" and a little fruit stand.Talked story with too guys who said they lived right there on the farm.A younger kid said they build houses too.I don't need that but my sister needs some yard work and wants to invite the kid.Anyone used him to help around the house? His name is Iamel or something like that.
Thanks.

I don't know the guys but the stand opened up a month or so ago. There is a property there behind them that has been called 'The Shire' I think and quite a few folks have lived in the woods at it off and on. Hard to say if he is someone you want to help around the house or not. Depends on if you assume the best, or assume the worst, or something in between.

FYI,
Anyone anywhere with access to cyberspace can become an "active member" of any group on tribes.net, just by signing on, so the person who posted pic #3 could be anywhere and have no association with the actual Shire, or people living there. There are a lot of exhibitionists out there who get their jollies by posting that kind of pic in random places, I checked a disparate set of "tribes" which would have no obvious association with each other and that pic was posted on several of them. It is basically a case of cyber-flashing.

I think it varies from "tribe" to tribe. It is a pretty wide open network that predates facebook and myspace, but was set up as a free cyber meeting place for like minded people to form "tribes" based on shared interests. Like a lot of good ideas on the internet it has suffered from creeps and trolls moving in. If you look at the dates on the Shire site it isn't all that active anymore.

I understand being careful about bringing someone into your personal space to do work, maybe you could stop back by and ask if they have any local references for work they've done?
