There will never be a time while I'm still breathing, when I run away from my own home when someone invades it.If someone invades my home, then my life IS in danger.I will do what has to be done just as I did in 1975.In that incident I didn't have to fire a shot.If he would have attacked me, I would have shot him.If he would have been armed, I would have shot him.If there were more than one person and they advanced on me, I would have shot them, unless they turned to run out.If he would have turned to run out, I would NOT have shot him. What I did was hold him at gunpoint and called the police. When the police got there, they knew this idiot. One cop said "hey, nice Dan Wesson". The other said "I would have shot him". Would I shot someone that I caught outside trying to steal my car? No, I would not--unless they attacked me on my property. Now if this sounds unreasonable, I'm sorry. It's got nothing to do with possesions. I'm very much a peace loving man.But smash your way into my home and you have crossed a very dangerous line. One of us will be very unhappy with the results.I have been through this and learned a lot about myself. And the SOB lived st see another day. jon Jon in Puyallup, Wa.

quote:Mauka - you are the one using that type of statement, in three separate threads, telling people to leave Hawaii because they don't like gun laws? It's OK for you to say it, but not anyone else?

I wonder what Mrs Winchester's house would have looked like if she had continued her westbound trip all the way to Hawaii?
She would have been the perfect Punatic. |
