What happens if, no make that when N Korea is able to send its missiles this far?

Without funding to the military and those who are brave enough to sign up to fight for you and your life, property and land there, there might not be any protection there.
Seriously, what would you do if left without military presence?
Or what would you do when you need massive air flights out?
Or airlifted food and medical supplies or personnel in?
