Eeek! This is disturbing. Hope everyone makes it home without too many problems. Oftentimes, other air carriers will make special accommodations/rates for stranded passengers in this situation...we'll see who comes to the rescue.

Qantas has said they (and Jetstar) shall honor any Air Australia tickets, to the same value.
I assume that only applies to people trying to get home.

Hawaiin Air has offered $300 tickets to people stranded. Considering what a full fare ticket would cost, that's pretty good offer.

Yes, Jerry, that's a pretty good deal. But Hawaiian makes you pay extra if you want them to use two engines in the flight.
