Driving through Hilo today I could not help but notice the profusion of fruiting Lychee Trees! Trees on Railroad, Komohana, Kanoelehua, Kinoole and other locations were laden with delicious looking fruit!
I have two Lychee trees in my yard that do nothing but produce new growth. Between the two of them they have probably produced 3 fruits in the last 7 years.
Would certainly appreciate it if anyone knowledgeable about growing this tasty treat could send some tips my way.
Thanks

im not the expert here but i've heard of hammering iron nails into the trunk of a mango tree thats not fruiting to get it to fruit (a lot of iron nails not just a few)
thats really all i know about it, but my thoughts were what about using nails made of other metals? certain nails for certain trees?
hope this helps! lychee is delicious and i would be losing my mind right now if i had tree's in my yard not producing!!

After perusing the below website, I think I found my Lychee problem. A bit too much shade and not enough root feeding. I will work on both of those issues.

Good luck!
