Tom Hanks movie includes Big Island
#1
A soon to open film has Tom Hanks playing "a tormented post-apocalyptic tribesman on the Big Island".

Should be interesting.... Movie is called "Cloud Atlas".

Here's a five minute trailer:

It takes place near Honokaa (that storyline). Decent book. Can't wait to see what those 3 directors do with it.

I might be able to help out. What is mostly happening. Is, the store will deliver sometime and not other times. I'm guessing, it all depends, on a few things. With Domino's, it depends who's on the the clock. How many drivers are on the road and if it's busy. Working for Domino's, if it was dead. I didn't mind sending my drivers on a few deep runs. We had a couple of addresses that where 14.2 miles round trip, but they knew to tip the driver well. We only did those long runs. if we where dead in the store and those addresses knew this.

I'm guessing this might be happening. If you live in the boone docks. Try ordering before 4. If that's possible They normally area dead. If it's in the evening. Trying ordering after 8pm. Dinner rush is about 4:30, 5:00 - 7:30. Anything after 8pm is slow. Normally picks back up after 9 or so. Then you get that rush before you close. Also, once it gets dark. The phones start to light up.

Hope this helps answer some questions about pizza deliveries.
Take care,
Steve

Sniper Steve, excellent information for a pizza junkie like me, but I fear you've wandered into the Tom Hanks thread where, I'm guessing, no one is seeking pizza-delivery information. (But ya never know!)

The Orchidland-food-delivery thread is waiting on pins and needles for your information, and last I checked they were right next door. Smile
