#1
Considering buying a lot in Hawaiian Beaches located on Hou St. does anyone know what kind of neighborhood that is. The google earth street views are over 2 years old. Just need a little more info before we fly over to see it first hand

there are 2 hou streets in hawaiian shores! there is north hou and south hou street. south hou street is directly across from the home association office
and rec center and pool! there are 6 houses on s hou street and several building lots. s hou has private water, mail service, wifi available, paved streets
and is a dead end street. Im not sure if n hou street is part of the home owners association! all the streets and lots included in the HSCA {hawaiian shores
community association} have private water, paved roads, mail service and electricity, and wifi available
the houses in the assoiciation pay $300 yr memembership and $50 month for private water. included in your membership is use of the associations park which
includes a swimming pool, play swings, tennis courts, bar b que facilities, basketball court and ball field. the pool and rec center is located on honu street
directly across the street from south hou street. I hope this information was helpfull!

If it's in Hawaiian Beaches...that's a different story. You'd need to talk to someone from over there who is familiar with Hou. The park, etc. is for use by Hawaiian Shores Rec residents only, unfortunately.

Live in Beaches. The shores park is a joke for the 300 or whatever it is now you gotta spend to use the pool. Better off driving 10 minutes to pahoa pool. Plus no CCR's in Beaches build as small as you like.

The pool in Pahoa makes shores park look like a mud puddle. Besides Beaches park is much nicer IMO. Bugger not all fenced in. To me the shores park looks like it's fenced in for a reason.. Wink

That being said I love Hawaiian Beaches a lot of cool people tho I guess there are some bad area's just like anywhere else. I wouldn't base my decision on the community center unless you like paying $ for something that you'll probably never use.

That being said. Shoot me an E-mail and the TMK, I'll check it out for you and scope out the surrounding area if you like.
