Geckos and lizards
#11
I have so many geckos but they don't get the mosquitoes...they eat the gnats, drink my coffee, eat bananas and other kinds of fruits and keep me company! Mosquitoes fly in the interior of the room, not around window sills, walls, etc. where geckos and flies hang out. You can adopt some of my geckos if you want...they're very personable. But won't get your mosquitoes.

I also wouldnt suggest relocating the Phelsuma Geckos to property higher than say 1,500' elevation, its often out of their natural warmth zone at night, and they may struggle and die if they cant find a warmer spot when we get our 55 deg or lower spells. Also the Phelsuma geckos prefer houses and structures over trees, except maybe banana, travelers palm, and larger true palms, on houses they like to stay in the eves and along the roofline looking for bugs all day. I have about 20 of them in Hawaiian Acres at the 1,200' level, and they seem to be doing good, but are less active and dont multiply as fast as say down along the coast where is sunny and warmer.

save our indigenous and endemic Hawaiian Plants... learn about them, grow them, and plant them on your property, ....instead of all that invasive non-native garbage I see in most yards... aloha
