Solid Waste Holidays - 11/22. 12/25 &1/1

Just a reminder that the solid waste transfer stations and the island dumps will be closed the following 3 days:
Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, Nov. 22
Christmas Day - Tuesday, Dec. 25
New Years Day - Tuesday, Jan. 1

These are the 3 days a year when they have no facilities open.

Please Kokua & plan your waste hauling, and remind all you know of these closures.

It always amazes me that people will still dump their garbage at the gates on these days, making a mess & so much more work for the staff the next day.

Solid waste holidays don't sound like very fun holidays to me. Not that I'm not used to them, but still.....
