I am thinking of getting an AM/FM CD player. I haven't had a radio, other than my car radio, since we moved here. I'm wondering how the reception is in the HPP area (23rd & Kaloli). I'm a pretty low tech guy. I don't know much about MP3 players and such.
Thanks for any comments on this.

We were given a bose CD player/radio and it gets excellent reception, about halfway up HPP on the Maku'u side.

An indoor radio should receive all the stations you can pick up on your car radio. Good quality radios have an input on the back for an AM or FM radio antenna. With the addition of an inexpensive wire antenna, you can improve the signal for stations with marginal reception.
