Aloha all,
I bought a 4 year old electric motorcycle (looks like a big moped) for 10 cents on the dollar, knowing that it will need new lithium batteries for top performance. It is known for not having a battery management system (BMS) and I would like to install one when replacing the batteries. I could muddle though it with my limited understanding, but much prefer to work with and pay someone who knows what they're doing replacing these 21 Lithium Ion cells and installing a BMS.
I am canvasing the motorcycle shops but haven't found a tech who really knows about this stuff. Anybody know of someone who is into something like this?
Right now I can do Pahoa round trips, but could do Hilo with new batteries.
This is the model, FWIW:

Cheers,
