Opihikao - you can see a wave was generated today. Station 32401 (the one nearest the epicentre) shows about a 5 cm (2 inch) rise in sea level shortly after showing some spikes. Yesterday's earthquake showed a rise in height of about 30cm (one foot), so you can see why the PTWC could say so quickly that today's event is no threat to Hawaii.
