How long on building permit wait now?

We are now seriously thinking about coming back this winter to build a very simple cabin, less than 300sf on our other lot. Its already cleared and ready. (and yes, we're nuts) I already have it designed on Chief Architect. Would need permit application walked through. Our plan is to be there first week of January but want to get that permit app in very soon.

I corresponded with Cat a few years ago but could never figure out what her business was? but flippers are mysterious?[]

Cat was a great project manager for me. not sure if she is still active with it. I'll have to drop in and ask.
