Foodland in Keaau sells large bags of butcher bones as pet food. They are in the frozen food section in the glass freezer near the produce isle. I have large dogs and can buy a bag of large joint knuckles for about $10.
The types of bones vary over the weeks, sometimes more spare rib looking bones, other times large knuckle bones. If you can't find them in the freezer, ring the buzzer at the meat department. Sometimes the butcher will even prepare a bag of dog bones for me (if you go before 5 pm).

If you're looking for raw bones, I occasionally have rabbit and chicken bones and feet available when I butcher. I feed them to my own animals but sometimes have more than I need and end up composting them.
contact me via email if you are interested in some bones, hides, feet, etc when I butcher. All is freezable if you have the freezer space. I feed them but I make no claim to the safety.... Dayna http://www.FarmingAloha.com www.E-Z-Caps.com

Chicken bones can do some damage to certain dogs because of the way they break up. It can puncture their intestines. Some dogs never have a problem but many do and it can be a costly vet visit. Not worth the risk. Big animal bones are the best. Beef and pork bones are the obvious choices.
