We had one north of Hilo (about 2-3 AM) where the thunder shook the house, like the floor and all the furniture, for over 10 seconds. It was like a quake except not rolling. Bizarre feeling, unsettling. Never had that before and been here for years.

It was crazy. Ended up sleeping with two big, scaredy cat dogs.

LMAO! I feel your pain, it was SO loud! Slept on the floor in the kitchen with the two of ours, with the TV blaring. Ugh.
