"Except one involves thousands of cars a day. the other dozens of cars once a week or so."
HOTPE, we are talking about something that was on going, as opposed to, Railroad ave. that is a response to a natural disaster. And I can identify with those HPP folks, in terms of, what they are going to have to bear. Nothing can stop Pele's flow except her.
HOTPE, we would not be here today if it was "only a dozen cars once a week". What about 'movie night'? What about the weekend parties. What about all of the daily and nightly functions that were outside of the purview of Hawaii's Volcano Circus's mission statement and their SUP 1122?
So now that SPACE is damn near facing certain revocation and the Hawaii Volcano Circus is probably going to lose their SUP, they are trying to transform SPACE into a 'relief center 'and an umbrella for lower Puna development'. It all goes back to deception.
On the website for, Graham Ellis's group, the Hawaii Sustainable Community Alliance (HSCA), they claim they are a state nonprofit yet I may be wrong but I cannot find HSCA anywhere on the State's nonprofit list and any money donated to HSCA goes through GE's circus nonprofit. And I cannot find on Citizen Audit a group exemption letter anywhere.
This is like when we had to force the Mayor to kick Mady Green out of the old Pahoa Police Station for claiming that she represented a nonprofit when she did not. And as a result of that move, we got what we wanted, which was to see that the old pahoa police station become a county council office.[
