Help Bring Abundance to Puna
#1
NEXT MEETING OF PUNA MASTERMIND COMMUNITY IS Saturday, Nov. 1st, 4:30-6:30 at Hawaiian Sanctuary

Our Vision: We envision an innovative, prosperous and multicultural community that meets the needs and dreams of all
Our Purpose: Through the Spirit of Aloha, we connect our skills, talents and resources to create a sustainable, thriving and welcoming Puna, as we inspire the next 7 generations.
It’s time to take the next steps to put our vision and purpose into practice. Most of us have recovered from Hurricane Iselle and we want to be proactive in protecting and uplifting our community as the lava moves down the mountain towards Pahoa.
Pele is presenting us with an opportunity to create a whole new paradigm of what life will be like in Puna. We get to choose whether love or fear in setting our course.
With every major shift, there are new opportunities if we will see them. During a “disruption” more than at any other time, new needs emerge and existing ones go away presenting so many new ways we can bring our talents and offerings for the benefit of others and ourselves.
-What are the new needs of Puna that we can fulfill with our own people and resources?
-What are the opportunities to create new services bringing abundance to Puna?
With the world’s eyes focused on Puna and tracking the lava flow, how can we take advantage of this attention? What can we highlight and role-model for the world?
Suggested agenda:
Individuals share their projects in which they are currently engaged that are aligned to the vision and purpose of the Puna Mastermind Community and what wants they have regarding these efforts. Here is a tentative list of such projects. (Please add your project to the list through the “Comment” space below. )
Tim Lloyd: Aloha Center at the Pahoa Museum
Clive Cheetham: Ama and Sustainable Agriculture
Daniel Levy: Puna Web of Trust
Discuss this idea of creating a “Community Hub” for self-sufficiency and abundance. Do we want to join in with SPACE to coordinate the organization of how we can all work together to build a sustainable future, creating livelihood and our own services?
We will be meeting in the Grow Room of Hawaiian Sanctuary, a much larger space than our previous venues. Please:
RSVP, so we know if you are coming;
INVITE like-minded friends to this event who are aligned to our vision and purpose; and
BRING refreshments to share
