Not definitely sure, but last time talked to Tom his work was all buggered up, and trying to get it straightened out. Hope that is still true and health is good for both.

Pog - thanks for asking, but not sure Pam would have said anything other than "I think he's busy!".
Not quite buggered up, Tink, but seriously hindered! Just very busy over the last three weeks trying to get UKIRT's suite of Cassegrain instruments working after switching from wide-field mode, but the bad weather has made things as tough as I can remember. Still not there, but get the weekend off (I hope) before starting again. Thought I'd sleep this evening after getting back home, but no chance. Shift and summit work screw you up... The last couple of mornings we've been doing something new. Mid-IR observations way beyond sunrise of the Clarke Belt. Should have some really interesting results. Captured some images from our dome webcams. We normally use these to monitor the telescope and dome during remote night-time operations, but with direct sunlight reflecting off a surface onto the primary or secondary mirrors causing a real fire threat, we were up there while also learning if the cameras would be useful for this stuff in the near future.
