Here is the Law...Find the law; Section 19-3.5: Voter fraud.
The following persons shall be guilty of a class C felony:
(1) Any person who knowingly registers another person to vote when that person is not entitled to register to vote;
(2) Any person who knowingly votes when the person is not entitled to vote;
(3) Any person who knowingly takes an oath in this title prescribed or authorized by law and wilfully makes any false statement of fact while under oath therein; or
(4) Any person who wilfully makes a false answer to any question asked of the person while under oath in this title prescribed or authorized by law. [L 1990, c 115, §2]

I was referring to the botanical "******", as there were so many posts about marijuana growing. I didn't intend it to mean human "******" but understand it might be read both ways.
What I was really asking was, what does TEH's voter fraud charge have to do with growing marijuana in Puna?

nothing that I know of !!!..............my reference was to the person who introduced me to the TEH story. She posted quite a bit on this topic. Didn't know she was suspended either!

The offense is here:

Sorting between the property tax abuse and the voting fraud, she said the Pahoa surf shop was her residence registering to vote in south Puna district. Then, she switched her residence to her Hawaiian Acres house just before filing for election in the north Puna district. The contention is she never lived in the surf shop because it does not have a residence in it, having been turned into a commercial business building in a controversial zoning dispute. If she sticks to the story and that turns out to be perjury, then the trouble is going to get deeper. Being arrested, the surf property building might be subject to a search warrant, to identify the living quarters.
She got within a few hundred votes of being elected, while pulling all this property tax and campaign fraud in the background. Guess this is the lesson about journalist ethics (=none).

Wow similar issue with the just appointed son of Gil Kahele by Governor Ige on the front page today. He deserves to be prosecuted as well. Geez.
