Deadline for Filing

It will indeed be interesting to see who has filed papers at this last moment.

Rumor has it that Fresh Onishi was filing papers for the Senate seat (mahalo to Nancy Cooke Lauer...again. lol.)

We shall see. Puna needs strong representation from many "angles", and at least, some very qualified people are stepping up to the plate in most races.

Yag....what was Fresh thinking? I get the calculus he engaged in, win a plurality relying on ethnic tendencies, but it seems cynical and therefore is disappointing. The race to test himself, in terms of the publics best interest, would have been against the steadily senescing Clift Tsujii. But, no he's gotta go after the younger guy..... the guy who was most likely to "keep it fresh".
