So very sad. Sincere condolences to her ohana, and friends.
One of my hanai nephews helped carry her out of the water, and many surrounded her with help, and sincere concern. This affects our entire community, and we (in this hale) pray tonight for all of her ohana, friends, and those who came to her aid. Even if most of us didn't know her personally, there are those who did, that are our extended ohana. It has been shared, that she was SO excited to be here (per her hosts), and was apparently an avid swimmer (a good one!). No matter the circumstances of her death, at the very least, she was not alone. May she rest in peace, and may her ohana find solace in that she was where she wanted to be; with good friends, in good company, and in paradise. Bless her soul. JMO.
