The county has determined that this case requires further study and has put out a request for bids to conduct said study. Expect results mid 2019.

We're about an hour away from getting a new Mayor, so maybe the entire County posture on such matters will be revised.

(Don't bother with a grain of salt, use the whole box.)

Neil Erickson has gradually been backing off of his illegal positions. He still maintains a stance of wanting to handle questions regarding code exemptions on a "case by case" basis... which is ripe for abuse by county officials. The Planning Department has the same attitude with special use permits. Moneyed interests get green flagged. Mere taxpayers get the shaft.

We had a meeting with a county attorney in the room and suddenly Erickson was giving this "I never said that" stuff... which is interesting because I have what he said in writing.

I would encourage anyone to call the building department, tell them you are looking at building a storage shed on AG land under the 600 sf exemption and post here what they tell you. They have a lot of versions of what they call facts. I keep demanding they show where in the code it says what they claim. So far they have failed to come up with the legal sources.

I'm not done yet. I think we will end up in a court room.
Assume the best and ask questions.

I think we will end up in a court room.

Mayor Kim's inauguration speech suggests that we come together as a community to work out our differences, because lawsuits don't really solve any problems.

Perhaps he was alluding to TMT, not the "little people".
