Hilo Community Chorus presents The Messiah

The Hilo Community Chorus, under the direction of Tom McAlexander, present Handel's Messiah, Pts 2 & 3. Soloists are Big Isle favorites Melanie Oldfather (soprano), Ian McMillan (tenor), Dan Mahraun (bass), and in a Big Isle first, counter-tenor Bridge Hartman adds a truly Baroque touch. Walter Greenwood on organ, Rick Mazurowsky on continuo, and two trumpet artists, Armando Mendoza and Alex Hedglen, also join the chorus in presenting the Handel masterwork. Tickets $15 at the Palace box office or from any Chorus member.
