Sharing Contractor Recommendations

Since I have asked for recommendations for different things and you all have been very helpful in providing them, I thought I would also share a couple. We have been doing a lot of work on our house in Kapoho (full rewire, patching/painting work from the rewire, roof work, etc). We've been really happy with the guys we're working with!

So why did you have to have your house rewired?

The house was built in the early 80s and added on to shortly thereafter. There appear to have been a lot of break-fixes over the years that were not necessarily done very safely, exposed junctions, switches that went to weird places, outlets in weird places, a couple random flickering lights, the original electrical panel that was basically just a pile-o-rust, appliances without the proper connections, etc. We are also having an aerobic septic system installed soon and want to make sure our electric could handle the addition.

We chose to do a full rewire for our own peace of mind rather than try to identify/repair/update each individual issue.
