Well I gotta say this month’s outing was the best to date, we had a blast!
Vince brought more and bigger kites this month and the wind was to our back.
Isle Oaisis (934-8868) is a store on Kilauea Ave in Hilo and they have some great kites. Dale (the owner) and his son came down this month. We bought a small parafoil type kite and attached some small glow sticks to it. We got it up and away in the night sky and it looked like a UFO.
For those of you that can attended, “Come on Down”. This activity really brings out the kid in everyone. Remember we start around 6pm and it’s light for about an hour and half. Then we pull the kites down and set them up for the night flight.
