My parents were school teachers at Kohala Elementary in & around 1968; they had moved to Kohala from Oregon with 3 little kids (me & my sibs); we lived in the teacher housing across the street from the school right next to a little restaurant run by Taki Hasagara(?) who has since passed; anyway, my parents loved their time in Hawaii & the people they got to know!; I was wondering if anyone remembers them (Dan & Yvonne Strickwerda)?
