DL Renewals?
#1
Had to go into town yesterday to keep a Dr.'s appointment with my Ophthalmologist.
I had him give me a card to verify my vision for having my driver's license renewed.

Because of my age, and the state's generalized age discrimination against older people, I am now required to renew my driver's license every 2 years.
Even though, I am probably in better health and physical condition than many people in their 40's and 50's, given the general rundown condition of our population.
I even make many in the 40 and younger rage look decrepit.
They are working from assumptions they're not allowed to use on any other minority type group.
In AK, I'd still be getting 10 year licenses.

Putting that aside, renewals have been set back to 5/15/20.
Apparently I will need to check back to see what happens with their edicts.
My renewal comes up in early June.
EDIT
Forgot to add:
Anyone have better info. about what is happening?

Was a Democrat until gun control became a knee jerk, then a Republican until the crazies took over, back to being a nonpartisan again.
This time, I can no longer participate in the primary.

Hawaii used to honor any unexpired out-of-state license; I don't know if that policy has changed.

Anyone have better info. about what is happening?

I have some extra snark about how badly they're mismanaging, but no good info.
