pahoa town's issues are difrent than HPP's or kapoho's or hove's or honokaa's and you cant see any of them from downtown hilo

There was an attempt to open a small store in HPP years years ago (when I still owned property there.) The store planners were trying to get a Special Use Permit (since rezoning was/is much more difficult) but the community defeated their plans.
