Question.
If someone is unammed, or let’s assume unnamed, how can we know whether or not they are MIA?  Or is it on a need to know basis, another situation where no one else except “elepaio had it figured out”

I don't think there's much chance of snow getting down to the VIS during this current storm or anytime soon - we're getting into Spring and it's unlikely we'll get the conditions that allow snowfall that low. Even if they do, it's going to melt almost immediately.

Yeah, one of those things I kept meaning to do right after the snow but then never got around to, mainly because I wasn't sure what the conditions were. Thanks to the link you posted, I will be better informed next year.
