Julie, you've been duped all along. But hey, don't worry yourself over it. Tom will love you no matter.

I think you are duping yourself and are a seriously disturbed person.

I think that goes without question Tom.

I'm kind of amazed that the list of misogynist terms has not been used. As of yet that is.

At any event, I saw this review earlier today on Amazon:
  • Based upon reputation alone I bought this Michael Crichton book.
  • It takes place in Hawaii, so there’s the usual liberal use of lengthy unpronounceable Hawaiian words with more apostrophes than letters.
Now I know I can't wait to read this book!!!

"Sony Wins Michael Crichton-James Patterson Bestseller ‘Eruption’ In Seven-Figure Deal"

"The feature take of Eruption already has Oscar-winning Free Solo directors Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi attached to direct, and we understand that there already have been conversations with Keanu Reeves to star, though no commitment."

We could start a PunaWeb casting call for all the other needed actors!

We could start a PunaWeb casting call for all the other needed actors!

At the very least, they may need a crowd standing on the crater’s ledge, one of them assuring the Punatics gathered that “there’s no way Pele will emerge in the foreseeable future….”
They briefly pause to bicker about whether or not that may be true and kablooey! The crowd of fleeing citizens, screaming, hands waving over heads, run for their lives as the volcano roars to life in the background.

Anybody on this thread actually read the book all the way though? I did, and while it had several parts that made me go WTF (paddling a OC-6 TOWARD a lava flow), pretty sure this is gonna be a movie in 3 years.

Yes, read the book.

It's a far-out twist that is fun. Yes, some things are impossible, but so is blowing up an asteroid with 2 space shuttles, or a dinosaur brought back to life in a manmade park.

At any event, my husband and I respectfully think we should be cast as Oliver and Leah Cutler.

Maybe he has been getting ready for this as his recent, very unkempt beard and overall look would have him fit right in for a Puna role.
