What a thrill for the children of
#1
the Punahou Marching Band. Just went by the Presidential viewing stand, where President Barack Obama smiled wide and flashed the shaka many times. For these young people to travel so far for such a momentous occasion, never to be forgotten! Of course they were just perfect, flags, music and all! WOW

And what a thrill for all of us watching to see the President and First lady shootin' the shaka. And when the band started playing Aloha Oe....oh, boy.

It really was a very special moment! I felt bad for him because people kept talking to him and he was trying his best to give those kids his FULL attention. His girls were also darling in their little coats & gloves waving the Shaka.
