Well, if you were expecting Tom Cruise or Julia Roberts then I am sorry to rain on your parade. However, it's official, Gary Benthin and Jerome Hurowitz own land in Leilani Estates.

I guess I'm not up to speed with the Hollywood crowd. I've never heard of either one!

ok I did some research Jerome (if I got the right one) was the first assistant director for a 1982 movie called "Basket Case" - I've never heard about that one! Sorry
The other one: Gary Benthin has extensive experience supervising, producing and writing documentary television. He is currently Co-Executive Producer of Popularity Contest, a ten-hour reality competition series for CMT shot on location in the small town of Vega, Texas. For this "epic" series, Gary supervised a tech staff of 50 who followed 10 big-city contestants as they attempted to win over the 936 residents of the supporting cast.
Previously, Gary was Supervising Producer for the first National Body Challenge, as well as the show runner for four seasons of the Discovery Health Body Challenge, which was voted "favorite program" on the network's online poll.
Prior to his work at Film Garden, Gary served as Supervising Producer for AMC's Cinema Secrets and TLC's Ultimate Special Effects. He was Story Editor for Discovery Channel's World of Wonder, TLC's Sea-Tek and Without Warning. His writing credits include The Complex, Micro-Invaders, The Clone Age and many episodes of Movie Magic.
I'm not sure if there is going to be a lot of paparazzi waiting in LE.

I suspect that if a Hollywood type comes to Puna it is for privacy and a little kicking back where s/he won't be the center of attention. Let's hope that everyone treats them just like anybody else.
Kapohocat, I think you live with a libertarian. I'm one, it allows you to defy the liberal/reactionary stereotypes. You can just believe that people are entitled to do anything that doesn't mess with someone else.

In 1986 I worked in a Law Firm in Brentwood, California with Doug Savant (Desperate Housewives)...he was 19 and taking acting classes and had his own filing business for lawfirms that his brother helped him with.
I also stood in line at Ralph's Supermarket in Sherman Oaks, California behind James Doohan (Scotty) from Star Trek and bore a hole through the back of his head until he turned around and said "hi". I'm in the CLUB baby!!

I played a poignant Christopher Robin in a neighborhood play when I was 5. Afterwards, my mom assured me that not only did I steal Winnie the Poo's thunder, but was also the best looking kid on the stage. (And I know my mommy wouldn't lie to me.) Since then the paparazzi have been dogging me mercilessly. Yeah, that's why I'm moving to Puna, to get away from the unbearable trappings of fame
