Cash and Carry going green?
#11

Taxing solar applications would be very hard for the powers that be in this political environment. I think the real beauty of these systems has yet to be realized since I anticipate the system to be on the verge of an extreme inflationay upswing whereby the cost per KWH will eventually skyrocket due, in part, to an esculation in the costs of oil, and in that arena people will look back wishing they had converted earlier.

Yeah well the cap & trade tax is going to make everything you buy more expense, especially in Puna where things have to be transported long distance, but they are going to pass that.

Since solar panels are shipped, they'll cost more because of cap & trade..

But the laws of economy will force the prices of panels down as manufacture improve and stream line production due to mass production resulting from demand.
