Good news... if you wish you hadn't moved here!

Just read a very interesting article about a program to fly the homeless who feel "stranded" in Hawaii after moving here unprepared for the reality of island life, or who have hit hard times. If this passes then there is stil hope for anyone who really finds themselves stranded here. Here is a link to the story:

Well, supposedly, some of the homeless came here on a one-way ticket "courtesy" of their former city! Free vacation in Hawaii!

I can see how this could backfire on the govt. Free trip to Hawaii every fall, free trip home every spring.

They have had programs like this before. Last one I heard of was around '94 or '95 or so, I don't usually pay attention to these sorts of things.
