When you buy your home insurance, what's usually covered? I mean, she asked...do you want hurricane insurance? Well...YEAH. What would you have insured that would cover you for hurricane, tsunami, fire, etc...is that gonna be outrageously expensive??

I finally got a chance to listen to your musci on here and it was very nice indeed! ) I enjoy that type of music immensely and so does the hubby! Will be great to come out and hear you play when we reach the BI and you are settled there. Would be a pleasure.....

On the insurance, we also have USAA and they will do a loan for us if need be and also the insurance. Not sure about Leilani with it being under zone 3 though. Did not ask about that.

Did you get a chance to know if USAA will cover zone 1 which Leilani is in, I believe?
Correct me if I am wrong on that.

Well Tracy Kim at Pyramid Insurance says I'll have to wait for the hurricane to be past (Daniel) before they can lift the moratorium on hurricane insurance for the house we are buying...hahahaha!!! What a HOOT that would be, aye?

John Dirgo was nice enough to send me the link http://www.prh.noaa.gov/hnl/cphc/ to check it out...they think just some high winds for Thurs and Fri...we'll have to see how that works itself out.
