I have visted Uncle Roberts kava bar in Kaoapana several times. It is a nice drive along the ocean from vacation land. There is art work on display, a history of the Hawaiian Nation, and the bar itself is open air and very freindly people. In the day time fresh fruit is for sale, and cheap fruit platers 3.00. It is always a nice time and worth spending a evening their. "Wednesday nights they have pot luck dinner.

I have tried ava a few times and find the effect very mild but kinda pleasant. However, I don't care for the after effect which results in the need for drano. Robert's Kava Bar sounds like it might be worth it once, just for the ambiance.
