More on Clean Elections legislation
#1
Noelie Rodriguez, UHH lecturer, is organizing a march in support of threatened Clean Elections legislation. It is to begin at 2 p.m. next Tuesday, March 10, beginning at the UHH Library and proceeding to the Hilo State Building. Those who want to lobby on behalf of clean elections are URGED to contact their state senators (Russell Kokubun, Josh Green, Dwight Takamine) as the bill postponing the pilot project of public funding for Hawaii County Council races has been passed by the House.
