The CPSC has announced a recall of refrigerators manufactured by the Maytag Corp for a potential serious fire hazard. Since the Maytag Corp manufactures items under various brand names, consumers are requested to review the recall information and depend solely on the name Maytag as the basis of determining if a product is impacted by this recall.

who knew nothing about the recall, turns out her Maytag was one of the
refrigerators being recalled.
