I thought is read, "impersonate".

If global warming gets any worse, we all gonna freeze!

One scientist is claiming that sulfur dioxide emissions (along with the sun) warm the place up. He claims it's easier to deal with sulfur dioxide than carbon dioxide.

FWIW, when Mt. Pinatubo erupted in the Phillipines in the 90's, there was a temporary fall-back in the upward march of recorded world temperatures. The generally circulated reason was that the very large amounts of ash and some of the aerosol gases emitted blocked enough sunlight to temporarily reverse the general warming trend. I have no scientific references to back this up. It's just what was mentioned in the press.

The sulfur dioxide guy said that vulcanism, (no, not Mr. Spock), was a significant emitter of same.
