Weather Front to the West of the State
#1
Check out this weather front to the West of the state. http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USHI0074_f.html Pretty huge. Might be in for a wet one if it moves over us.

Scroll half way down the page in the above link to see the satellite image of the front.

Fitzi you know weather systems - is it going to soak us?

Wow, that thing is huge! Last time I was really worried about weather hitting Hawaii was Flossie. Some magic charm, or Pele?, blew that storm apart. I now believe in the magic charm of the Big Island. Then again, what do I know, Free catchment refills for all?

I have been following it for a day or so and it looks like it may be dissipating to some degree. The sat photo is updated fairly frequently.

I often see huge weather systems off the the West of Hawaii in satellite pictures, especially on the evening news. But they always seem to just miss Hawaii. Must be the aloha keeping them at bay.
