Catchment recommendation?

The only one I know about is Waterworks and I have heard mixed things about them, unfortunately that they are expensive too. Any other recent experiences and suggestions? Mahalo.

We use "Reeds Catchment" in the Shipman Business Park. They install catchment tanks and do maintainence on them. I believe they still install doughboy catchment pools (alot cheaper than galvanized pools and they last just as long as far as I'm concerned) as well as the galvanized metal tanks.

By doughboy is going on 25 years old with the same liner. We have it professionally cleaned every year by Reeds. Their prices are reasonable.

I talked to my builder about the concrete one .He said it would be $3K more than the standard one.Since it on the construction loan ,I decided to go for it.Again,thanks to this forum and Glen's post in particular.

For those that have "recommended" Doughboy pool frames as their means of water catchment, I am hoping someone could approximate the cost of a liner for a 21ft round frame. It was quoted to me today, by a local Doughboy dealer, that the frame, here maineland, would be 1700.00

Macuu 222 reminded me that Doughboy frame can stand the test of time if erected correctly. We installed one some twenty years ago at a previous home and as far as I know it is still going strong.

In the interest of construction budgets I am comfortable with this choice. We also don't plan on using this water for drinking purposes right away but would like a food grade liner so when the time comes that we have become proficient at caring for the system properly it will be less stressful to transition.

Paradise Pools -- check with them definitely. They did a great job for me on a catchment that I needed a few years ago.
