I am looking for approximately 20-30 cubic yards of soil. It needs to be good enough to grow in. Any suggestions? How much should this cost me?
Thanks for any help.

If you have a 4x4 pickup and are willing to do the hard work of getting the (great) soil off our land, we have a TON of it you can have for free (or anyone else reading this). We're in in Glenwood/Mountain View.

Advertise on Craigslist and check the Yellowpages for someone to haul the above free soil.
Get bids to find out what the pricing is. Be careful when some bidder says their's is better and cheaper to haul. It may or may not be better, but if it gets delivered, it is yours forever. Look at the free stuff then look at any other that is offered before committing. First squeeze a handful of good soil at a nursery to see how it clumps, then do the same to any other.

Yogi,
I could use some soil. I have a pickup/not a 4x though. I'm in Mt. View. Let me know if it's still available. bewitchedinhilo@gmail.com Thanks. |
