Ain't merchandising great? Trump's new building doesn't even have beachfront property. Of course, given the chance, I would have bought a unit in it too. Probably would have kept it for all of four hours until it was re-sold to someone who didn't make the buyer's list.

Hmm, it is scheduled to be finished in 2009 which should about be the bottom of the real estate drop and then things should head back up. So maybe in the next couple years he can get the workers cheaper since there will be fewer construction jobs and get the thing finished just in time for the prices to go back up on the next rise.

It is taking a bite out of one of the few open spaces left in Waikiki, but the 'kis are so screwed up anyway, may as well have Don Trump built his hotel there. Keeps him out of our hair.

Its not being built on open space (at least from what I could see last time I was in Honolulu). There were some smaller older run-down places that were being demolished and that's where I saw the big sign announcing that as the location of the new Trump building.
