What is the area called this is south of Hilo, along the road that leads to Richardson's Beach? I know there is housing in there.... thanks for the info.

Pam, Keaukaha, mauka of 19 (Kalanianaole Ave.), is Hawaiian homelands, and there is an OHA office there, with a lot of info on the area. There are a lot of ancaline pools in this area, and some are still used as fishponds.
