Queen Liliokalani Hula Festival Sun. 9/27
#1
It's that time of the year!

The Queen Liliokalani Hula Festival (a part of the Aloha Festival Month) will be held in the Liliokalani Gardens on Sunday Sept. 28 from 10-3. Come early so you don't miss the Floral Rain on all of the dancers around the Gardens representing their different halaus. (chicken skin every time)

Floral "Rain"? Is that as cool as it sounds?

Sounds way cool. Indeed.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Way, way cool! They drop thousands of blossoms from above as all of the hula dancers are doing a hula in unison around the gardens, and the blossoms float on down (unless it is really windy..), even if it is rainy (and it rarely is, after all, it is a Sunday in Hilo!) it is gorgeous.
