Here is the Advertiser story of the passing of mayapple McCullough, a long time advocate for victims rights. She courageously stood up for those who couldn't. Rest in Peace Mayapple.

Thanks Greg,
My husband and I read that article in the paper and it was horrific about the awful things that happened to her after she was such an advocate herself. Did she leave the area because of the crimes against her or for other reasons? It sounds like she was a real asset to the community and Hawaii in general. I agree, Rest in Peace Mayapple. So where the heck is Waa Waa anyway? Sounds a little scary. I remembered the Ireland case making national news. Mayapple was a gentle soul. Sorry to hear of her passing.
Waa waa is on the rugged roadway that runs from the "four corners" in Kapoho to the bottom of Hawaiian Beaches (Kahakai Blvd.), with homes sprinkled among mango and lauhala trees and other jungle.
