Growing conditions by location
#1
Hey y'all, This might seem like a stupid question, but as you go up in elevation from Hawaiian Acres to Fern Forest Vacation Estates are there any general rules of thumb for days of sunshine or amount of rain that would affect growing things? I know some things are better growing at lower elevations. But are these areas pretty much all the same as growing areas? How about rain or temperature tracked from one subdivision to another? No one collecting the data? We are closely watching the real estate while we wait for our house to sell. We like the elevation range there, and are kind of leaning towards Fern Acres. Thanks for any info comparing growing/living conditions there.
P.S.
Anyone know the best topo map of those areas?

Fern acres is a superior location. Less but adequate rain, little more sunshine, few mosquitos, better neighborhoods....

I want to be the kind of woman that, when my feet
hit the floor each morning, the devil says

"Oh Crap, She's up!"

Thanks for reaffirming my thoughts. And I love your signature. I used to use "Poster Girl for Clutter Magazine" But since preparing to move to BI I am paring down as fast I can. Peggy
