Thank you for the votes and support of everyone who helped me in this campaign.
Of course, the results are not what I wanted.
However, there is much to be done to improve the way our County government operates and how Puna residents live and work, and I look forward to being part of making it happen.

James, we should be thanking you for stepping forward to offer us a more positive vision of what Puna can be. We have missed a chance, for now, to have thoughtful, effective representation. Even though you will not be on the Council, I know that you will remain a voice for those of us who want something better.

It is unfortunate that James will not be able to apply his ideas at the council level.
