Changes to Pahoa Planning map meeting 8/31

The Planning Director will introduce proposed amendments to the General Plan Land Use Pattern Allocation Guide (LUPAAG) map of the Hawaii County General Plan affecting the Pahoa Regional Town Center area identified in the Pahoa Community Development Plan at a public meeting at the Pahoa Neighborhood Center on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.

PLANNING DIRECTOR INTRODUCES PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL PLAN LUPAG MAP FOR PAHOA

The Planning Director will introduce her initial draft for amendments to the Land Use Pattern Allocation Guide (LUPAG) map of the Hawai‘i County General Plan affecting the P#257;hoa Regional Town Center area identified in the Puna Community Development Plan at a public meeting at the Pahoa Neighborhood Center on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.

The purpose of this meeting is to introduce the P#257;hoa community to the Director’s proposed amendments to the LUPAG designations, which are intended to support the Puna CDP concept of Pahoa as a regional town center. Following a presentation by Planning Director, Bobby Jean Leithead Todd, the public will be afforded an opportunity to ask questions and offer comments on the proposed amendments.
The information being presented at this meeting was previously introduced to the Puna CDP Action Committee at their July 12, 2011 meeting. Daniel, try typing the links into your browser manually without the periods after each, and they should work. This is a common error when links are imbedded in text next to punctuation marks.
