Both comments place an unworthy burden on the phrase "being consistent".

Explain why Tom ?

"Do you have any children you have to take to school ?"

That is one of the more disturbing things airportparking wrote. Anyone who saw posts like these:

would know they are being stalked by an unstable person and would be concerned about their family's safety.

Dear Tom,

Spin it how you want, it just goes to show where your mind is. ... But please do keep back records of all your posts and avoid answering direct, recent questions as posed to you. Unless Rob allows it to be blocked, I think there is more than enuf info here to show your overzealous interest in a few posters who do indeed have familys to take care of and take to school in liue of staying up all night attempting to counter your attacks + doing whatever.

Again, I am submitting all this to you know whom.

Paul - thanks. I've dealt with these online lunatics for a couple of decades now. The field of astronomy attracts them like bees to honey although this is the first one to start asking about kids' whereabouts. That's particularly disturbing especially when they are trying to drum up business for families to leave cars in their yard while they are away.

UH-Hilo students will soon have a greater share of viewing time from the Mauna Kea observatories. This is good news for UHH astronomy students, and for the Big Island in general as it will encourage more students to apply for school here, in a program that affords them the possibility to work and study with some of the best telescopes in the world:

Undergraduate students at the University of Hawai#699;i at Hilo will soon have access to the Maunakea telescopes, an amazing opportunity to work with the world’s premiere telescopes located on the world’s best site for astronomy.
“A stronger astronomy program at UH Hilo also means more educational opportunities for the local communities and keiki, a prominent core value of our mission.”

The moon kind of surprises me sometimes. I’ll be out at night and I’ll see a nice moon, and say, “Hey, that looks good.” Then I’ll say, “Oh sh-t, I went up there one time!” Kind of surprises me. It’s like there are two Moons, you know—the one that’s usually around, and then that one. - Michael Collins, Apollo 11 astronaut
